of people this will be romney's first one-on- one type debate. any clue on his approach to make him perhaps a little looser, but within that strict box of remaining presidential? a hard line to walk, perhaps. >> reporter: yeah, really is. there are a lot of people that are weighing in. and you can imagine that governor romney is getting all kinds of advice from all sides. apparently, his wife is the biggest factor in his life. and in his debate preparation. in an interview i just heard that his first thing, when he gets off stage, he takes his piece of paper and writes on there, dad, remembering his dad, who also ran for president. and the second thing he does, is find his wife in the audience, and have eye contact. they did it 20 times in the republican primary. and i saw it personally six times. he looks for affirmation. so i think that's a big factor for him, feeling comfortable. how he -- how aggressive he is going after the president on specific policies, i think will determine, you know, how this debate goes. >> we will all be watching. bre
